                       THE STORY OF THE CHEF


            Sunday Farias, the Chef Sunday, was born in Santa Quitéria - EC, the 205Km of Fortaleza. Born penultimate of eleven children, he lived with his family until the 14 years when it was to Rio de Janeiro. There, he worked for nineteen years between the Hotel Green Gold (one of the best cuisines of Brazil in the decades from 50 to 80) and Hipopotamu's Night Club, where he worked as Maitre.

            When so much of food and, at 14 years, has held the post of "comins" (a kitchen helper) at Hotel Green Gold, where they received all the basic teachings of gastronomic know that until today. During his career in Rio de Janeiro, participated in several culinary competitions, in addition to tasting-menu with international chefs, always placing among the first.

            In a summer of 1992 after coming to Porto de Galinhas on vacation, enchanted with the city and decided mount your own business. In 1992, transferred to the nightclub's Hipopotamu of Recife, began to develop his project and to do so to become reality. In 2003 then was born Sunday Restaurant in the charming town of Porto de Galinhas, which is four years and intends to continue for many others.

            Every day, Sunday follows the making of dishes in the restaurant with her perfectionism and care characteristic of who takes care of its establishment. It is he who does, personally, the body served in the restaurant and every night, is who commands the kitchen, which in high season, eight counts of frenzied professional kitchen, in addition to staff working in the salon.

            After four years of work and success, the owner of Dominic Restaurant is a strong brand name and known inside and outside Brazil.
